Waitin’ For a Fish

Taken on November 20, 2015

This being my first winter in Sandpoint, I wanted to find out where the bald eagles hang out. I read on the Internet they like to hang out where the kokanee spawn, so I drove to Trestle Creek Recreation Area. Imagine my surprise when I found three sitting up in the trees. Two flew off as I walked up, and this one sat for awhile before flying off also. Shot in Aperture mode, F 8.0, shutter 1/800 sec., ISO 200, 55-250mm telephoto at 250mm.
